Autumn comes with its own beauty considerations in the Gulf. While temperatures gradually begin to drop, the weather remains warm enough to call for lightweight formulas on the skin. Meanwhile, air conditioning and an increase in social occasions can influence the way we approach our beauty routines. As the seasons change, it is also a good opportunity to reassess some of our everyday essentials, from richer skincare to fragrances that reflect a different mood.

For the season, we have selected seven new launches, each with something distinctive to offer. From treatments designed to support skin health to makeup products that add a welcome touch of colour, these are the additions that caught our attention.

Super Anti-Aging Face Mask Rich by Dr. Barbara Sturm

As we move into a new season, the skin can benefit from extra care, particularly after months of exposure to heat and sunlight. Dr. Barbara Sturm‘s Super Anti-Aging Face Mask Rich offers an intensive treatment with a formula that transforms from a cream into an oil, designed to boost hydration while supporting the skin’s firmness and elasticity. Its ingredients include Japanese camellia oil and passion fruit oil, alongside hyaluronic acid, glycolipids and antioxidant-rich components. The 50ml format also comes with a stainless-steel gua sha tool, adding a gentle facial massage to the skincare routine.

Transition Blush Collection by Patrick Ta

Blush remains one of our favourite ways to bring life back to the complexion, but Patrick Ta is taking application a step further with the Transition Blush Collection. It brings together the new Liquid Transition Brightening Blush, the Transition Blurring Blush Duo and a dual-ended brush. The idea behind the new formula is to blend seamlessly into the skin, creating a smooth finish without visible lines between under-eye concealer and cheek blush. The result is an even wash of colour with a soft-blurring effect, ideal for the understated looks we tend to favour on everyday occasions.

Rouge Dior On Stage Matte and Ink Blur Matte Lipsticks

Autumn often inspires us to embrace more expressive makeup shades, and the latest additions to the Rouge Dior On Stage collection feel particularly well suited to the season. Rouge Dior On Stage Matte offers a creamy formula designed to give the lips a velvety finish, while its liquid counterpart, Ink Blur Matte, delivers a soft, blurred matte effect. The latter allows colour to be layered, making it easier to control the intensity of the shade. From the iconic 999 red to softer rosy and earthy tones, the collection offers options for both daytime looks and evening occasions.

Big Blender and Baby Blender Brushes by Tower 28

A good makeup look sometimes starts with choosing the right tools, which is why we welcome Tower 28‘s first two face brushes. Big Blender is designed to distribute foundation across larger areas of the face, while Baby Blender offers greater precision when applying products around the eyes and nose, or over blemishes. Both brushes feature soft, plant-based synthetic bristles that dry quickly and have been designed with sensitive and acne-prone skin in mind. What we particularly like about this duo is its practicality, with two tools that help make everyday makeup application easier and achieve a more even finish.

Scented Body Oils by La Collection Privée Christian Dior

There is something particularly appealing about a fragrance that becomes part of our skincare routine. That is the idea behind the new scented body oils from Dior, available in three fragrances: Oud Rosewood, Gris Dior and Bois Talisman. Their lightweight formulas soften the skin while leaving behind the distinctive notes of each scent. They can be worn alone for a subtle fragrance that stays close to the skin, or layered with the matching Eau de Parfum for a more pronounced scent. We particularly like this approach for autumn, when we find ourselves drawn to deeper fragrances without necessarily wanting anything too strong or overpowering.

Alta Fragrances and Accessories by Bottega Veneta

For those who see fragrance as an extension of personal style rather than simply a pleasant scent, the Alta collection from Bottega Veneta offers an interesting take on everyday accessories. Alongside its ten Eau de Parfum fragrances, the collection includes perfume holders crafted in Intrecciato leather, cosmetic bags and a hair comb. The fragrances themselves bring together unexpected ingredients, such as Italian basil and Madagascan vetiver in Always Now. What we particularly like about the collection is the way it makes fragrance part of our everyday accessories, with a miniature perfume bottle becoming an elegant detail to carry wherever the day takes us.

Blush Rose Glow Essence Body & Hair Fragrance Mist by Touchland

Autumn fragrances do not always have to be intense or woody. Touchland‘s Blush Rose mist offers a fresher alternative, combining rose petals with notes of lychee, strawberry and peony, set against a soft base of musk and iris. Designed for use on both the body and hair, its lightweight formula makes it a practical choice in the Gulf, where warm weather often calls for something refreshing throughout the day. It is an easy everyday fragrance for those who prefer delicate floral scents that do not compete with other perfumes.

Ultimately, the best additions to a beauty routine are the ones that suit our individual needs and preferences. Whether it is a richer skincare formula, a new shade of blush or a fragrance that feels right for the season, sometimes a small change is all we need.
